Welcome to Good Balance Fishing Charters LLC, I offer fishing charters and gigging experiences along the Alabama Gulf Coast. I have years of fishing experience and love to share and teach the sport to others. Join me for a fishing adventure that will leave you with a newfound love for the sport.
About the Boat
The boat is a 16ft LT25 Custom Gheenoe that drafts in 4 inches of water. This allows us to go as far back in the marshes and estuaries as we please. Whether we are chasing Redfish on the flats, gigging for Flounder in the marsh, or fishing for Speckled Trout in the creek channels, we will not be limited as to how far we want to go!
Explore the Waters
There is nothing like seeing the marsh come to life first thing in the morning. The amount of wildlife you can see in the marsh is truly amazing, there's nothing like it. I would love to share the experience to show others how truly beautiful the mash is!
Now, gigging is a whole other thing! There is no shortage of things you can see. The amount of marine life you can see in the middle of the night is a site to see and sometimes a little eerie. But, never the less it is so cool seeing the marine life so close.

​Dock light fishing is a pretty cool experience as well, seeing all the fish swim through the lights is really neat. This type of fishing is done with live bait, typically with shrimp. It is pretty exciting not knowing what could bite. When the water is clear and the fish are really fired up, you can sight fish for them and that is always exciting!
